Katie Harris owner and Operator of Agape Supportive Living Services LLC (ASLS) Homes of Unconditional Love and her dedicated staff have been providing supportive living and daily life skills to persons with developmental disabilities since September 2001.
Katie knew going into assist living would be a challenge, but she has made great strides in such a short period of time. She currently operates (2) Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) and (2) Adult Family Home, with future expansion plans in existences.
Her enthusiastically dedicated strength and perseverance to the resident’s she serve is truly an inspiration and those she came in contact with have been inspired by the services she provide.
Katie begin her career working with persons with disabilities in 1996, since her experience working in Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) for over ten (10), years has giving her the opportunity to work individual and in groups with the population she currently serves.
She has been employed in the Human Services field for the past eleven (11) years. During this time she has worked with assisting low-income individuals and disadvantaged families’ transition from Welfare to Work. She currently holds a Degree in Business Management with inferences on continuing her education in Psychology in Social work.
Katie is certified in the areas of Adult Basic Education Testing Administration, Behavioral and Client Assessment and holds several certificates and certifications from participation in numerous trainings relating to (W-2) Welfare Reform and providing services to Persons with Developmental Disabilities.
Katie has set on the Wisconsin Education and Training Board, is a Certified Workforce Development Professional, Honorary lifetime member of the Who’s Who Professional and a member of the Executive Females Professional Team.
Her goal is to continue educating herself on how to provide a better and continuous service to the clients she serve.
Katie says theirs no magic in what she does, “but you must respect people for who they are“. She also says “everyone has worth; getting individuals to understand that some things take time“.
She is devoted and has been changing and transforming lives and economics situations for disadvantaged people for many years and have a way of motivating people to take control of their own lives. Countless individuals and families have improved their lives with her help. She is very sensitive and passionate about helping people improve their lives. She will work tirelessly to get the job done.
